OUAGADOUGOU, BURKINA FASO
Ouagadougou – the capital of the state Burkina Faso and province Cаdiogo - is in interfluves of Black and White Volta. The population of the city is about 681000 inhabitants. Ouagadougou has been based in the XVth century.
The city is the trading - transport center of the country. In the suburbs of Ouagadougou long fallows of a granite and brown coal are developed, and also vegetables, cotton, cereals, walnuts of an oil arbor, domestic cattle are grown. In the capital cotton-cleaning, textile, alimentary enterprises, shoe and carpet factories, tires and cement factories, factory on assembly of bicycles and motorcycles are situated. There is an international airport.
Here University of Ouagadougou, some research institutes, sports stadium and a palace of leader Mossi are located.
