MBABANE, SWAZILAND
Mbabane - the capital of Swaziland and an administrative centre of district Hoho - is located nearby the border with the Austral Africa on high tableland in the northwest of the country. The population exceeds 47000 inhabitants. The city has arisen at the end of the XIXth century near the residence of king, Swaziland Мbandzeni.
Mbabane is a unique rather large city, and also the administrative, trade and transport center of the country. Railways bridge it to nearby collieries and seaport Maputo (capital of Mozambique) on the coast of the Indian Ocean. The industry is introduced by the enterprises of alimentary, sewing and metal-working industry. Near Mbabane there is a development of asbestos.
In the city there is a university.
