The peoples of Africa

Africa is populated with hundreds of big and small peoples (ethnoses). Many of them live in several countries. The representatives of nomad tribes and nationalities migrate through territory of other states.

The Arabs (Egyptian, Algerian, and Moroccan) are the largest of the African ethnoses in the North of the continent; in Tropical Africa these are Yoruba and Hausa, and also Am-Hara, Oromo; in the Central and Austral Africa - Bantu. Their frame is rather complex. The Bantu, for example, includes more than 40 nationalities, each of which totals from above 1 million persons.

In the African countries there are a lot of natives from the European and Asian states. Their part in the Republic of South Africa is about 5 million persons (Afrikaners, or Drills, the Frenchmen, Italians, etc.) and is especially great. More than half of population of the continent lives at a countryside and it is occupied with agriculture and cattle husbandry. In fast-growing cities many inhabitants are occupied in the sphere of services (trade, service, etc.); state officers are their considerable part. On the continent the high level of unemployment is saved, the significant number of the peoples of town's lives for casual earnings.

The number of teachers, doctors, industrial and transport workers by degrees grow.
