SAO TOMЕ, SAO ТОМЕ AND PRINCIPE
The Sao Тоme (also known under the name Salazar) is the capital and unique large city of the state Sao Tome and Principe. It is situated on the northeast shore of the same island at height approximately 2000 meters above sea level and is the main port of country on the Atlantic Ocean. The population of the Sao Тоme is about 50000 people.
Through the urban port passes all the export of the country. There are cocoa, copra and bananas. The industry is poorly developed and includes effecting of soap, drinks and facing bar.
In the Sao Тоme the Portuguese fort and some other ancient buildings were saved.
