The prominent figures of Africa
The history of African peoples is rich in prominent persons. In Egypt, for example, they especially honor monarchs and Pharaohs Josser, Kheops, Akhenaton, Ramses II, Nefertiti and Tutankhamen (about 3 thousand years BC), in other countries - they honor the first figures of epoch of the Middle Ages when early state educations have appeared. The special respect surrounds the leaders of national liberation movement. And among them there are known fighters for independence of the XXth century Nelson Mandela and De Clerk, which put an end to the epoch of apartheid and the beginning of democratic process in the Republic of South Africa. Among figures of the literature and art a worthy place is occupied by the Egyptian writer Nagib Mahfuz, the Nobel Prize winner (the novel "New Cairo", the trilogy "The Lane of midakks" and others...)
