Kenya and Tanzania National Parks

    Tanzania and Kenya are considered as the main countries of the African safari. Serengeti and Ngorongoro are located in Tanzania, Masai-Mara - in Kenya. The capital of the African safari considers Tanzanian  city of Arusha. From Arusha it is the most convenient to reach the most well-known natural parks.

    The national park of lake Manjara is located in 130 kms from Arusha, between well-known alkaline lake Manjara and a rock of the Big African break. Here it is possible to see almost all animals, except for leopards and cheetahs. "Stars" of this park - the pink flamingos living on lake Manjara, and lions. That is interesting, lions spend the most part of time on acacias since here very rich and extraction it is more convenient to look out for forests from above.

    National park Serengeti is located in Tanzania in 320 kms from Arusha. In translation from masai language "serengeti" means " infinite plains " though in this park there are both savannas, and rivers and lakes. The basic animal population here - antelopes of the gnu, the most well-known inhabitants - lions. Except for them also other representatives of " the big five " here live: elephants, rhinoceroses, leopards and buffaloes. Well, and certainly, other livings: crocodiles, hyenas, giraffes, jackals, baboons, large-eared foxes... Here it is possible to see more than 35 kinds of flat animals and 500 kinds of birds. Entrance for two days - $80.

    When in Serengeti there comes a season of rains (November - May), millions antelopes of a gnu, zebras and other plant-eatings migrate in searches of a fresh grass. Their way lies in Masai-Mara - this reserve is original continuation Serengeti, but it is located not in Tanzania, and in a southwest of Kenya. But to lay a way directly from Serengeti in Masai-Mara to you it will not be possible - this border is closed for ordinary travellers.

    Ngorongoro is a dream of all those who is going to on safari to Africa. To get into dream will cost in $90 for two days. Add to this of $10 for each draining off in a crater - but it  costs of that. And with departure it is necessary to be rather punctual, differently it is necessary to pay for superfluous minutes as for all the day. The crater is located in the north Tanzania on border with Kenya, in 470 kms from Nairobi. By the way, travelling with the guide be not under a delusion, that he will tell only to you about inhabitants of a crater. He will watch, that you are not especially bothered these inhabitants and at all did not move down from road.

    When Ngorongoro opens to a sight  for first minutes you think, that you are in the forgotten world. Here antelopes and zebras peacefully graze, in a shadow under a tree it is possible to observe for languished from heat lion's pride or impressive family of elefants. Wild animals feel here themselves as owners, that not especially hurry up passing road, therefore sometimes it is necessary to wait.

    If you are not going to in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and go to Kenya here again it is enough parks: Sibilon, Mount-Kenya, Masai-Mara, Aberdar, mount Elgon, Samburu, Amboseli, Nairobi.

    At the bottom Kilimandjaro national park Аmboseli was stretched. On open spaces of this reserve among other livings also it is possible to meet " the big five ": the elephant, the leopard, the rhinoceros, a buffalo and a lion. The national park Mount-Kenya lies in 150 kms from Nairobi and involves first of all with a mountain landscape. Park Samburu is a desert. Park Aberdar - rain forests and the Alpine heathlands, this is one of the wetest places of the country. The park of Nairobi is located absolutely near the capital, but it is seasonal, therefore not all animals can be observed the year round. The most beautiful park of the country - mount Elgon located on the border between Kenya and Uganda. Tourists here among an opportunity to see animals are involved with caves Kitum, Маkingeli, Chepnuyalil and Ngwarisha . Кitum is a cave of " underground elephants ". Elephants are actually ordinary, but at night they come here and pinch a hydrochloric strike from walls.

    Entrance to all parks  is paid. It speaks that on nature  the preservation of money is required, and considerable. But, despite of the prices and the broken roads, fans of such tour every year come to Africa. Then greedily to tell: " We go, and here to us towards - a lioness with a young lion... "
